Hyginus Rille
Rima Hyginus is a large rille located East of Mare Tranquillitatis. It extends 133 miles in length and is about 2 miles wide. It passes through crater Hyginus (6 mi), reported as a site of transient lunar phenomena. The crater is seen here in the centre of the image, with its Northern walls damaged by a craterlet, giving it its distinct shape.

A complex rilles network (Rimae Triesnecker) leads to crater Triesnecker (16 mi) seen here in the bottom left of the image.
