Full Moon
One doesn't necessarily need a telescope to take detailed images of our Lunar satellite. This image was taken using a Canon DSLR camera with a 100-400mm L lens and an 1.4x extender, yielding a focal length of 560mm at f/8.0.

By stacking multiple exposures, the signal to noise ratio can be improved significantly and further detail is revealed.
